Keith Morgan End 1983:
Was a two time All-Conference player, and All Area Senior year. Had a career total of 51 Receptions(2nd), for 740yds(3rd), and 9 TD Receptions(2nd). Went on to play at Indiana after graduation. He also was an excellent high jumper in track was 5th in state. Keith was Thornridge Athlete of the Year in 1984.
Gary Ford End 2010:
Was an explosive end his senior year. In 2010 he had season record of 45 receptions for, 1,040 reception yards, and 13 TD receptions. Was an excellent track athlete by being a state champion in 110Hurdles, and all state in 300 Hurdles and High Jump. Went on to Auburn to run track. Gary was Thornridge Athlete of the year in 2011.
Jarret Drake End 2004:
Is the only player to be a four year varsity starter in the history of Thornridge. Was a two time All-Conference, All Area player. Holds school career record for receptions with 55, is 2nd in career receiving yards with 1,023. Went on to graduate from Yale lettering 3 years and starting 2. Jarrett was Thornridge Athlete of the Year in 2005. Was Also Academic All State Team.
Wayne Rampke End 1966:
Was All-Conference, All-Area and All-State senior year. Caught 8 TD passes senior year in an era when there was not many passes. Went on to play at Thornton Junior College after graduation. Was one of the leaders on Thornridge first Conference Championship team. Has been associated with Thornridge football from graduation though 2007.
John Spillis End 1963:
Late bloomer played in an era when there was not much passing. After graduation went on to Northern Illinois and was an All-American. Lead the nation in receptions senior year. Also played in the 1969 College All Star Game against the New York Jets. Was Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 3rd Round and played with them for 3 years. Had a career record of 27 receptions for, 446 yards and 1 touchdown.
Bashire Yamini End 1994:
Another late bloomer. Was a two year starter at Thornridge. Was also an excellent track athlete. Was All-State in the long and triple jump, and State Champion in the High Jump. Received a scholship to Iowa for track. Was a Big Ten and a NCAA champion in track. Played football the last two years at Iowa. Signed practice squad contracts with the Broncos, Cowboys, and Panthers of the NFL and played with the Tennesse Titans playoff team.
