The Civil Air Patrol Program (CAP) is run by a volunteer organization in conjunction with the United States Air Force.  In CAP, District 205 students develop valuable leadership skills and gain real-life experiences while immersed in the fascinating world of aviation.  Opportunities include flight training, leadership development, summer activities, academic scholarships and more.  The Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program is perfect for any District 205 student interested in pursuing a career in aviation, the Air Force or any other branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.  The program is open to all students, 12 years old and up, who are looking for a challenge.

    Excellence In All We Do

The Civil Air Patrol placed 3rd in the drill competition for Illinois Wing Group 2 in January 2015.  They were outstanding in their performance.  It not very often that a group of cadets receives last minutes changes and then has to perform on those changes with in thirty minutes of the competition.  Our cadets were amazing at adapting to changes.  A thank you shout goes out to Lt. Smith, Parker, Bass, and Captain Curtis for getting up at 6:00 A.M. to make certain our cadets were ready for the challenge.
