Seniors and their parents/guardians from Thornton Township High School District 205 are invited to a day dedicated to exploring post-high school opportunities. This event, Thursday, October 24, 2024, will feature interactions with colleges, trade schools, military branches, employers, and workshops, all aimed at helping District 205 seniors develop their 3E plan: to be enrolled, enlisted, or employed. Se invita a los estudiantes de último año y a sus padres o tutores del Distrito Escolar Secundario 205 de Thornton Township a un día dedicado a explorar las oportunidades posteriores a la escuela secundaria. Este evento, que se llevará a cabo el jueves 24 de octubre de 2024, contará con interacciones con universidades, escuelas vocacionales, ramas militares, empleadores y talleres, todo ello destinado a ayudar a los estudiantes de último año del Distrito 205 a desarrollar su plan 3E: inscribirse, alistarse o conseguir empleo.

Her winning venture, DigiPlan, is an innovative app designed to boost productivity among students. LEARN HOW TO SUPPORT THE YOUNG PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adolescents ages 12-18. You’ll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to young people who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.
